So I was thinking today about life. You know....like what is the meaning of life? What is really important in life? And what is the point of my even being here? Why is it that we kind of decide for ourselves what we think should and shouldn't be given importance? Is it possible that some things were just made to be more important than others? Like my family for example. I've always known that family is important and stuff (blah blah blah), but sometimes I just have to sit back and ask myself if I really believe that deep down in the depths of my soul. What if suddenly, my family was taken away from me, and I never got to give them that one final hug...or tell them that I love them that one last time? This is a big deal. I mean, I love my family very much, but I absolutely do not let them know that near often enough. Maybe that is something that I need to give more importance to than I have in the past. Maybe I need to really sit down and take a look at my life.....at life in general....and just sit there with God and try to get a bit of an understanding of what life even is. I wish I knew. I wish I could have it all together. But I guess life is about discovering that as you go. You know? Anyways....there are a couple of the things that are going around in my head right now. Goodnight everyone.

So I just got home from my hip hop class....and I can't even tell you how unbelievably much I LOVE that class! I want to slap myself upside the head for not ever dancing before this year. I just love it so much. It's like this huge thing that's always been a part of me but I'm just discovering it now. Shoot the dog! Why didn't I discover it earlier. Oh well....I guess it's better late than never. Praise the Lord that I went to see Step Up or else this great love of dance that I apparently have would still be burried inside me, unknown about. So...here's my words of wisdom for the day...if there's something that you want to do or that you just want to try or that you think you might like...just do it. Please just do it. You are not too old, you are not too late, you're not too anything. Life is to short to not do the things you love. And this is probably one of the first times I just stepped out and did something like this. You should have seen me when I walked into the room to register for dance classes. I was so nervous I could've peed. Very scary for me. And then the first classes that I had were also very scary. I had so many questions running through my head. What if there's only like 3 people in my class? What if I have the wrong time and it started like half an hour ago? Which room do I go to for which class? Where do I change? Let me tell you....I could not be more glad that I just got over my stupid nervousness and went and did it. Because I love love love love it!! Anyways... that's my ramble for the day. Hope it made you happy!

My new venture...

Hey folks...sorry it's been like 16 years since I posted last. It's probably been so long that people might think I curled up and died in the blogger world. Well ha ha! I'm still here! So as you might see...there is a picture of my new favourite movie. It's called Step Up and it is UnReaL! I've been to see this movie 3 times already and it hasn't even left Capitol. I highly recommend it for everyone who likes dancing movies to go watch. It is very very good. So good in fact, that after watching it, I had no choice but to learn how to dance. So low and behold I went out and registered for dance classes. Yes...you did hear me correctly. I am taking both hip hop and ballet. I had my first ballet class tonight and I LOVED every second of it. There's a really great girl in my class named Jasmine....I think her and I will get along. So as you can probably imagine, I am quite excited for my first night of hip hop tomorrow night. It's going to be awesome. Soon I'll be a pro or something. Ha ha. Riiiiiight. Anyways....I just thought I'd update you on this new little venture I'm on. Dancing!!! Love it!!
