I need a babysitter

I'm almost kinda relieved that it's not smoking hot outside today. ALthough that would be nice too, but this cooler weather doesn't make my house heat up so much. I am about to clean my bathroom and bedroom and then I'm heading to the U of S to pick up Jasmine and we're gonna hang out. I remembered this morning that I'm supposed to be babysitting tonight so I'm trying to find someone to babysit for me. If anyone who reads this would be so kind as to do this for me, I would be forever in your debt. They are two adorable kids named Paige and Spencer. And it's super easy money. Please.........someone help me out here.......call me on my cell if you will do this. My # is 261-0204. I loev you all!!!!

Waiting....

I am home from my VBS meeting. It was a mighty fun time. I'm not gonna lie. I am pretty freaking excited for VBS. Should be awesome. So Scott and I were talking and he said that I could come over and hang out tonight btu he was biking home so he's not gonna be home for like an hour or so. So I got home and called Jasmine but she's not home currently either. Although Scott said that she went to the gym, so my guess is just that she's probably not quite home from there yet. So now I am simply awaiting her return phone call to see if she wants me to come over or not. I kinda hope so....I just like them so much. Tee hee.

Hot hot hot day!

Last night, I had a fabulous time playing floor hockey. Jenna and I went together and it was quite fun. I kept getting hit with the ball though and now I have a nasty bruise in my right leg. But I like bruises sometimes, so it's all good. Afterwards I went over to Jana's to hang out with her and Michelle and Dan and Bre and Sierra. It was quite fun. We simply sat around and chatted all night. GOod times. Today I hung out at the church, doing random things to get set up for VBS. And let me tell you....I am hoping and praying that the air conditioning at the church is working by the time VBS gets here. I might have to cry or something otherwise. Afterwards, I came home and Ryan came over and we chilled. It is soooooo hot in my house. I went in the back yard and stuck my head under the mercy of teh hose. Thank God for hoses! My mom brought home some pizza for supper. So we ate that while watching CSI. (We're both obsessed). Afterwards, we took a drive to Kristin Clark's house just to say hi or whatever, but sadly she wasn't home. SO we just too a drive down to the river and walked around and looked at the flooding. It's pretty impressive that the river is now just sitting in the middle of Spadina Cres. Who'da thunk? So that was all. Then he brought me home and left and now here I am sitting here waiting for Kristen to come get me and take me to the VBS meeting that is tonight. She better get here soon or we may be late. Nah! Kristen's always on time. No worries there. But I'm gonna run now and make a quick stop in the bathroom before KRisten gets here.

Beautiful tan

I love being tanned!!! I wait all year for this exact weather and here it is today!!!! So wonderful! So I spent the afternoon at Jenna's in her backyard. We jumped on the trampoline and used the hose to our full advantage and got nice and soaking wet. Then we'd lie there and tan until we were dried off and then get wet again and repeat the process. It was truly glorious. I am slowly but surely getting rid of my ugly tank top tan. And I'm starting to get pretty dark too. I love it I love it I love it!!! So tonight Jenna and I are gonna hit up the floor hockey action at the church. Show 'em our stuff...ya know. It'll be good times. Although the injury to my knee that I obtained last week at floor hockey, is still causing me a bit of pain. Not too sure what it is, but as long as it doesn't get worse...it's all good. I'm going to eat some supper now 'cause I am HUNGRY!!!

I love SUMMER!!!!

Last night I went out to Kyla's for dinner as kind of a last girly get together before her and Kendra leave for the summer. It was quite fun. The food was soooo delicious and we had a lot of fun. I rode home with Jana. It was good. I like being with Jana. She just makes me happy all the time. Yay Jana! This morning I woke up at 9:15ish. I got up and showered really quick. I figured I'd take a walk over to the mall and be back before lunch time. So as I was eating breakfast....I decided that it would be in my best interest to watch The Doodlebops before leaving for the mall. I know...it's ridiculous and childlike, but I am rather ridiculous and childlike myself, so it's all good. So after Doodlebops were over, I headed over to the mall. I wanted to buy some blue jean capris but all teh ones I tried on didn't fit right. They were either too small or too baggy or too something else. So I didn't end up getting capris. But I did end up finding a pair of really cute beige shorts at Suzy Shier. SO I bought those instead. Then I headed to London Drugs and bought some eye make-up remover pads. I usually just buy one little package...you know how they come....but this time, they had 4 packages all together and you couldn't just buy one. SO I had to buy 4 packages. SO I think I'm pretty much set until Christmas or something. While I was in London Drugs, I ran into my lovely wife Cherise. So we chatted a bit. I told her that I'm moving and she got really excited about that. So it was fun to run into her. Then I walked over to the church where I chatted with Scott and Jess and Kathy for a bit and cut up some papers. And then I just headed home, where I currently am now eating my lunch as I type this. Jenna just called and said that she feels like jumping on her trampoline with sprinklers....something that I ALWAYS feel like doing so as soon as I finish typing this, I'm gonna head over there and enjoy this 30 degree day! Well....I guess that's all. Until next time...

Lazy day

Today has been a pretty good day. I went and played tennis with Jenna for a bit this afternoon. It was fun. I like playing tennis....even though today I was getting kinda lazy and I wasn't doing very well. But it was still fun. Then I came home and have done absolutely nothing due to the horrible cramps that I am experiencing right now.....if you're a guy, I'm sorry you had to hear that. But anyways, I lied on the couch for a bit and watched 7th Heaven and ate som epopcorn. It was nice ane relaxing. I feel kinda like I want to have a nap now. Although that will not be happening as I am going out tonight. So now I think I'm gonna go try and straighten my house up before my mom gets home. Oh ya....and also this morning, I dropped off a resume at Mackenzie Cole which is opening soon. I really really want to work there. NOt sure why, I usually don't get excited about possibly having a job, but I really hope that I at least get an interview. So ya...anyways. I'm gone!

My big exciting news

Alright........so here it is......the moment you've all been waiting for.......you ready? I'M MOVING!!! Not far away though. Just to Cochin Cres. which is like right across the street from the church. My mom Svend bought a house and we get to move on August 25th. Now tell me that isn't soooooooo exciting. K, I'm sorry if I disappointed some of you and my news isn't as exciting to you as it is to me....but it is pretty darn exciting to me. Just so you all know.....this will be the first time that I've had my own bedroom in like 16 years. Last time I had my own room was before my brother was born. Ya...I'm pretty sure it's about time. I'm so excited. I'll get my own huge room with a queen sized bed that we bought from the lady who lives there now and I'll get to paint it how I want and it'll just be my own room. Sorry for going on about this, but "my own room" is a foreign phrase to me, and I'm just a tad excited about it. And plus I'll be super close to the church! That is so freaking awesome. Ya....so that's my big exciting news. But....there is one thing surrounding this situation which desperately needs a lot of prayer. So, if you wanted, you could keep that in mind when you're thinking of things to pray about through the summer. That would be splendid. Well I guess that's it for now! Love y'all!

The Essay of My Weekend

Alright, so allow me to update you all on my last couple of days. So on Friday night I went over to Jenna's house. Chelsea and Cherise were there as well as Jenna's friend from RJC and also her friend Winston from Briercrest. We were playing Cranium and talking about how great it would be if we got a blackout...ya know, 'cause it was storming and what not...and then like 2 minutes later it blacked out. It was awesome. We all thought it was great, except for Jenna. She was kinda nervous a bit. It was pretty funny. So fortunately Debbie has a great love for candles, so we never ran short on those. So we lit a bunch on the kitchen table and then we took a bag of mini marshmallows and used tooth picks to roast them over the candles. It was soo great. Anyone who has never tried that before, should definitely try it sometime. THe power stayed off for a good hour and a half. It was awesome. It also went off again later. All in all, it was a great night at Jenna's. Saturday, I was at Prarie Meats working the appreciation day all day from 9:30-5:00. For most of the day it was kinda a bit rainy and cold so taht sucked. But I got to stand by Jasmine most of the day and serve hot dogs and burgers, so taht was great. I love Jasmine. I'm just so glad that her and I are friends. She's just fabulous. By the time the later afternoon started rolling around, the sun came out and it started warming up. Now here's the really great part....after we finished working there, me and Scott and Jasmine and Dan King and his family went swimming in Jasmine's grandparent's pool that's in their backyard. That was pretty much the greatest thing ever. I had forgotten how much I love swimming in outdoor pools. But I clearly remember now. A little later on, Rhett and Morgan and their cousin Tyrell and Kristen all came and swam too. It was soooo much fun. There was this little floaty ring thing with a fairly small hole in the middle, but we were diving off the diving board and trying to dive through the middle of the ring. Jasmine and I and Rhett could all do it and then Morgan goes and she just happens to be the one who gets stuck in the ring. It was quite hilarious. The tiniest one of us all is the one who gets stuck in the middle. Good times indeed. Then Rhett and Scott decided that they would be all immature and throw the girls in the water. I mean, it wasn't a big deal 'cause we were already wet, but Rhett would pick you up and throw you over his shoulder and then jump in off the diving board. So naturally I feared that my face would completely splat on teh water, so I put up quite a good fight against Scott and Rhett. But in the end, I ended up losing. I made sure to straighten myself up so taht my face wouldn't splat on the water. So it ended up being alright. Anyways....it was seriously such an awesome time!! Afterwards, we all went to Scott and Jasmine's house to hang out. We ate popcorn (YUMMY) and we watch Lemony Snickets. Good movie. Except that I kept on falling asleep for moments here and there. But it was fun. I just love Scott and Jasmine soooo very much and I love to hang out with them and I just think taht they are the greatest! They're awesome. So I ended up coming home at about 12:30ish and went to bed shortly thereafter. Church today was pretty good. I quite enjoyed it for the most part. Russ' sermon was really super awesome for all those fathers out there, but not so much relavent for unmarried teenage girls like myself. But it was still good. After church I went out for lunch to Moxie's with Kristen and Kristin and Kendra and Tanya and Jana and Michelle and Dan. It was fun. I just love hanging out with my great and wonderful friends! It makes me happy. Just so you all know...if you are my friend, you are like my family. I just love you so very much and I just want to spend time with you all the time. This afternoon I headed across the street to my dad's house to spend some good quality time with him. Lol. We ended up going to look at the Kinsmen home lottery show home. It was a fairly nice house except that it only had 2 bedrooms and it really wasn't taht big of a house and it was priced at $560,000. A bit ridiculous, if you ask me. The only part of the house that I really liked was teh carpet. It was fantastic. But other than that, it was just alright. Then we went to see Man Of The House, which was quite good and funny. We both enjoyed it. Then came supper time. It took us quite a while to figure out where the heck we should go to eat. We ended up settling on The Great Buffett of China. It was a good meal. I wished we could've made for some better conversation though. But it was still enjoyable. Once we finished eating, we came home and did a puzzle together. Then Jaclyn and Kevin came over to play some football with my dad, so I went home. I went to Dairy Queen with Svend. Good times. Then I simply came home and did nothing. Now here I am writing a freaking essay. Props to those of you who took the time to read this whole thing. You're awesome. Oh ya, and just to let you know, I am free to tell you my big happy news now, but I'm tired of typing and this is getting too long, so I'll write it tomorrow. Be sure to check back. It's awesome. Well I'm going to bed now as I am quite tired. G'night!

I love Quin and Abby

So.....quick update on my life in teh last day or so. K, so I can't remember if I mentioned whether or not I have a nasty sunburn. Oh ya...I'm pretty sure I did. Well it looks slightly better today than it did yesterday. Although it's still pretty ugly. Horrible tank top tan and horrible shorts tan. Brutal!!! Oh well....I suppose I have all summer to fix that little problem. So anyways, last night Jenna and I went to see Guess Who. Let me tell you...it was a fabulous movie. I quite enjoyed it. I like hanging out with Jenna. I'm soooooo glad that she's going to be home for like a year. First year since grade 10! Man have I missed her. But it's all good now 'cause she's home. So then when I got home...something else quite significant happened, but I'm not officially allowed to say anything as of yet, as things are not completely finalized yet. But as soon as I can let the word out...I'll let you all know. So today, I am at Clayton and Michelle's babysitting Quin and Abby. Yay! I just love these kids to death!! And Quin can actually say my name now! Well actually it's more just like "Kri", but I know what he means. He can fully say Abby's name though. What a difference in the amount he can talk now from when I first came in March. HUGE difference. So ya. I'm here just for the day today, having a jolly good time. And I'm not sure what I'm up to tonight. If there's something going on....please let me know, 'cause I want in. Or if someone just wants to do something with me....that would be great too. Well I love y'all and I'll be sure to write some more later, I'm sure.

Happy days!

Well this is gonna be quick 'cause I have to go clean my room and eat supper and fix my hair before Jenna comes to get me in half an hour. We're going to see Guess Who tonight. Ya, pretty excited about that. So I got a NASTY sun burn today. And to make it worse, it's not like I was wearing my bathing suit all day or anything....no no no....of course I had to be wearing a thick strapped tank top. Ya. Great burn. Gotta love it. My face finally got a bit of a tan today though, which I'm super pumped about. Ya....I went for many walks today and then Jenna and I chilled in her backyard on the trampoline with the hose and stuff. Much suntanning was happening. Good day! Did I mention how much I absolutely love summer??? Ya....'cause I do! It's the best ever. K, but I gotta go. Lata!

Tonight was fun. I liked having worship practice. It's always great. Except that it seems like every song we ever do is sooo high. Well, that's actually not true, but it feels like it sometimes. But hey....gives me some good vocal practice I guess. So ya, it was fun. Then after practice, Kristen and I went to the Travelodge to pick up Dan King's kids and take them home and babysit them. Let me tell you how easy it was. We got to their house...they had to go to the bathroom and brush their teeth and go to bed. And then Kristen and I looked at some photo albums we found on their shelf. Good times! Lol. There were definitely some awesome early 90's pics. It was great. And then we watched The Wedding Planner. What a good night. You can hardly call that babysitting. It was fun. I liked it. Well, now I should probably get going to bed soon I think. Soo...toodlooo!

TGIW (Thank God It's Wednesday!)

Today was a fairly awesome day. I had a great time at church all day long painting animals for vbs. We're all done all the painting!! Hurray!!!! It's about time. SO my knee is feeling quite a bit better than it was this morning. I can walk with out looking like a gimp, although I still have a minor limp I think. But hopefully by tomorrow I'll be as good as new. So tonight is worship practice, which I'm so excited for. Worship practice is one of the highlights of my week. I look forward to it soo much always and I'm just super happy that today is Wednesday. So taht's where I'll be tonight from 6:30-7:30. Did I mention lately how much I love the people at Cornerstone?? 'Cause I don't think I'll ever stop thinking about it. I just love everybody. I really appreciate Lorne a lot. I'm super glad and grateful that I get to be on his worship team. It makes me happy He's pretty great I think. But ya, anyways, I'm gonna run now 'cause my sister is on my case to get off the computer.

Sucky deal

So...I'm hopefull about to get myself into the shower and all fed and stuff like that and then head over to the church to do some painting for vbs. But there's one problem. Last night at floor hockey, I like pulled something really bad in the back of my knee and I can't straighten my leg all the way. I can straighten it most of the way and kinda just walk like a gimp, but if I straighten it all the way then it hurts like a huge mother donkey and I kinda collapse a bit. And seeing as though walking to the church is my only way there....this could create a problem. Perhaps, I'll try biking, maybe that'll be easier. Well anyways....eventually I'll make my way to the church somehow and i'll be there pretty much all day. So if you need me, that's where you'll find me.

What an awesome evening

Man, tonight was so great. I was just sittin here on my computer wondering what the heck I was gonna do tonight, and then, as I was talking to Dan on msn, he said I should come to floor hockey. SO that I did. And it was awesome!!! It was so fun and I love getting all nice and sweaty. And I didn't even suck too bad. I'm definitely gonna go, like, every week. Good times indeed!

I love Saskatoon in summer

Today was a great and wonderful day. Cherise called me this morning to see if I wanted to come out to Langham for a bit today, but due to my lack of vehicle, I was unable to. So she called me back a bit later and suggested that her and Chelsea come into the city to hang out. So it ended up that CHelsea and Cherise and Jenna went down to the river by the Bes adn hung out. We plaued catch with a football and then with a frisbee, and then we were slightly dying of heat so we headed over to the fountain where we sat with our feet resting nicely in the cool water. Oh so good. After we had cooled off enough, we walked over to the bus and got some frozen yogurt and ice cream which we ate while sitting at a picnic table in the park. Let me tell you...it was truly a glorious afternoon. Not too sure what I'm up to tonight. No plans as of uyet. Guess we'll find out when it gets here.

Rain rain rain

So last night Jenna and I went to play tennis. As we were on our way there it was starting to get pretty windy and crappy looking outside, but whatever...we're tough and we can play tennis in wind. No big deal. So as we were biking there, we ran into Tanya in the park. We talked and chatted for a moment or two before we kept on our way. It started to rain a bit, but that didn't stop us. We just went and played and after too long it stopped raining and the court pretty much dried up. So anyways, we played for at least an hour in the on and off rain. It was really fun. Neither of us are super duper awesome. I'd say we're pretty much equal skill as each other. It was super fun. Then we each went home to shower off the rain and sweatiness. And then we headed over to VHQ to rent a movie. We ended up renting Spanglish. Pretty good movie I must say. I quite enjoyed it a lot. Not your typical Adam Sandler movie, but really good. So now here I am....fresh outta bed and curious to know what I'm gonna do today. Ha ha. Well I think that the first step would be to have a shower. And eat some breakfast. Alright, sounds good. I'm gone.

Revelations galore

Well today is going by fairly quickly I'd say. And I feel as if I'm running out of time to do all the productive things that I'm supposed to do today. You know, like clean my room (which looks like it has been hit by a hurricane), and clean the bathroom and stuff like that. Where does that time go? So tonight is Mary Kay training, like every other Monday night, but I am undecided as to whether or not I'm going to go.Lately I've been feeling more and more like Mary Kay is not the road I'm supposed to take. So I've been leaning more and more towards giving it up as a business. I'll still remain a consultant so that I can get product for myself at cost, and my friends can still buy from me if they want, but I think that'll pretty much be the extent of it. So ya...that's that. I noticed yesterday that we're getting a Mackenzie Cole Coffee over by VHQ and I absolutely love that place so I think I may apply to work there. We'll see. I think it'd be fun. I figured out yesterday what my dream job is. See most people, when they are asked what their dream job is, can come up with something. But I never have had any clue waht that would be for me. But the other day.....it just hit me. If I could have any job I wanted, I would want to work at the church. Not too sure what I would want to do there, but just to work there would be ideal for me. 'Cause I know that any other job that I have, I would just be wishing that I could be at the church. That's why I'm there so much right now, with all my free time. It's my home and I love being there sooooo much. So ya, there's another revelation for the day. Well that's enough for now...I'm going to eat some pasta salad.

Grad Banquet Pics

Here are some wonderful pictures from the grad banquet for you all to look at. I kinda got a bit carried away and just published all of them, but hey...whatever. So I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
